Mindfullness in Buddhism is directly connected to the practice of Compassion Towards All Sentient Beings--- such practices are largely incompatible with Late Capitalism & its precepts of profit. Mindfullness would not allow someone to take advantage of the ignorance of others... the stock market actually depends on it. Hmmmm...
